Connections Homes

Connections Homes is a faith-based nonprofit organization dedicated to connecting young adults to families. Every year in our country an estimated 85,000 young men and women between the ages of 18 – 24 are living life unconnected to family or any caring stable adult. These young people are living on our streets, in our shelters and in dangerous situations like sex trafficking because they have nowhere to turn. Connections Homes is committed to changing the outcomes for this forgotten population by connecting them with families who will walk with them in life and guide them to a successful future.

Bethany is a global nonprofit that supports children and families with world-class social services, all designed to help families thrive. Bethany protects vulnerable children through essential services, including pregnancy counseling, foster care, emergency care, and adoption.

Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development

The Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development strives to help children suffering from the effects of early trauma, abuse and/or neglect. Through various outreach initiatives, they train professionals in Trust-Based Relational Intervention®, a research-based, holistic model developed by Dr. Karyn Purvis and Dr. David Cross.

Brighter Birthdays is a community service organization that helps under resourced children celebrate their birthdays through the delivery of bags filled with toys and living essentials.

Division of Family and Children Services

The Georgia Division of Family & Children Services (DFCS) investigates reports of child abuse; finds foster and adoptive homes for abused and neglected children; issues SNAP, Medicaid and TANF; helps out-of-work parents get back on their feet; and provides numerous support services and innovative programs to help families in need.
